Health Industries Research Companies (HIRC) conducts strategic market research on trends in health care, pharmaceutical, and managed care businesses. HIRC’s benchmark studies focus on the marketing needs of pharmaceutical companies, providing market research critical to the development of successful marketing strategies. In order to remain competitive in its industry, HIRC needed to leverage the Internet both to collect and distribute its research more efficiently.
Solution
The Igneous Group deployed a new Web site for HIRC using the IGSite hosted service. With no capital expenditure or hardware to manage, HIRC has an easy-to-manage Web site that provides several customized and advanced functions. For example, HIRC can register survey panelists as users on the site, build online surveys, and send personalized email blasts asking panelists to participate. In addition, HIRC can publish all its research reports on the site as secure PDF files. Customers can log in and view the reports to which they've subscribed. Managing content, customers, documents, and surveys is handled by HIRC's existing staff, with no need to hire a Webmaster or someone with technical expertise.
Results
The HIRC Web site enables HIRC to be more responsive to its customers by making its research available any time from any where. Online surveys and publishing results online allows HIRC to report its findings faster and more frequently. The Web is a key part of HIRC's strategy for growth.
